I am the founder of Hougen Ltd., and have been supplying solutions for Industrial and heavy duty wheels, castors, jacking units and trolleys for 22 years.

I started my career as a Technical Sales Engineer at HMC Brauer, a specialist wheel & castor solution provider, acquiring technical expertise in polyurethanes, synthetic materials, steel wheels & axles. 5 years later I moved to Blickle as the Business Development Manager and then Sales Manager. Some 10 years after I was appointed Sales Manager and Heavy Duty Expert at TENTE UK, switching to a BDM role, focussing on new business. This was within an international structure model and generated very healthy consistent growth in the heavy duty segment.

The list of clients who have made use of my experience include: Airbus, Rolls Royce, Toyota, Honda, Ford, JLR, BMW, Linde, JNFL, Sandvic, Terex, JCB, McLaren, Mercedes, Daher amongst many others. Industry sectors include: Energy, Oil & Gas, Marine, Automation, Material Handling, Logistics, Intra-logistics, Automotive, Water treatment, Civil Engineering, Tunnelling, Mining, Aerospace, Construction, Defence and Space.

I have personal experience covering a wide range of customer needs and applications, and pride myself on my ability to apply my expertise to develop bespoke solutions. As Hougen are at present a small company, I am able to be personally involved in all enquiries, ensuring that the service levels for our customers are second to none.
